Coaching Objective
Skill Level: Intermediate, Skill Development: Ball Handling and Control. This is a great drill to develop your ball handling and test your co-ordination and reaction time. It can be used as a good warm up drill.
Drill Instructions
- Start this drill by holding the ball with your left hand in front and your right arm behind your leg.
- When ready, release the ball and switch hand positions.
- The ball should not hit the ground.
- Try and do this for 45 seconds.
Coaching Messages
- Release the ball and DO NOT lob the ball high to give yourself more time
- CHALLENGE YOURSELF: Keep the ball very low to the ground
- CHALLENGE YOURSELF: Do this drill as quick as you can
- Have Great Ball Control & Be Awesome!
