Coaching Objective

Skill Level: Intermediate, Skill Development: Ball Handling and Control. This is a great drill to develop your ball handling and test your co-ordination and reaction time. It can be used as a good warm up drill.

Drill Instructions

  1. Start this drill by holding the ball with your left hand in front and your right arm behind your leg.
  2. When ready, release the ball and switch hand positions.
  3. The ball should not hit the ground.
  4. Try and do this for 45 seconds.

Coaching Messages

  1. Release the ball and DO NOT lob the ball high to give yourself more time
  2. CHALLENGE YOURSELF: Keep the ball very low to the ground
  3. CHALLENGE YOURSELF: Do this drill as quick as you can
  4. Have Great Ball Control & Be Awesome!
