Coaching Objective

Skill Level: Advanced, Skill Development: Strength. This drill will help you strengthen your body core, arms and shoulders. Regular execution of the drill will increase your power and help you gain muscle strength. When you master this drill, increase the number of cones to ensure you keep challenging yourself.

Drill Instruction

  1. Start with 6 cones to your left (or any object you can easily pick up with one hand).
  2. Complete a push up and after rising, keep balanced on your arms, use any hand to pick up a cone from the left of you and place it to your right.
  3. Complete a second push up and after rising, keep balanced on your arms, use any hand to pick up a cone from the left of you and place it to your right.
  4. Keep following this step until all 6 cones are on the right of you.
  5. Complete a push up and after rising, keep balanced on your arms, use any hand to pick up a cone from the right of you and place it to your left.
  6. Complete a second push up and after rising, keep balanced on your arms, use any hand to pick up a cone from the right of you and place it to your left.
  7. Keep following this step until all 6 cones are on the left of you.
  8. After 12 push ups, take a 1 minute break and repeat 3 more times.
